We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Support Specialist to cover a 5-week parental leave period.

The Inventory Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Inventory Controller and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the facility. This role involves transferring and staging materials for production, ensuring proper documentation in Spire ERP, and operating material handling equipment safely. The position plays a critical role in supporting production efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities;

Inventory Movement & Control

  • Transfer inventory from receiving area to designated storage and production locations.

  • Ensure proper placement of materials according to production schedules and storage plans. Including managing any changes in location and product labels accordingly.

  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

ERP Management (Spire ERP)

  • Update inventory locations and movements in Spire ERP in real time.

  • Maintain accurate records of transfers, receipts, and adjustments.

  • Assist with cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in ERP.

Receiving & Verification

  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

  • Inspect goods for damage or quality issues.

  • Tag and label inventory for traceability.

Production Support

  • Deliver materials to production lines as required.

  • Communicate shortages or delays to production and purchasing teams.

  • Perform stock checks upon request for Production and Sales teams.

Inventory Accuracy & Reporting

  • Perform regular cycle counts (as instructed) and assist with annual physical inventory.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances.

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow company safety policies and forklift operation standards.

  • Maintain organized and clean inventory areas.

  • Comply with ISO 9001 documentation requirement

Requirements

  • Proven experience with data analysis skills

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, and warehouse management systems.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
